StribePOS is operated by RETAIL SALE SOLUTIONS (HK) LIMITED (零售銷售解決方案(香港)有限公司), Hong Kong Business Registration No. 80094356 (“StribePOS”, “we”, “us”). Please read these terms carefully. By booking a demo, placing an order, or using our website, software, or hardware, you agree to them on behalf of your business.
1. Services provided
StribePOS provides point-of-sale (POS) software, related enterprise hardware, and associated support services to retail businesses. This includes software subscriptions, hardware sales, onboarding, and ongoing support as described in your chosen plan.
2. Eligibility
Our services are intended for business customers. You must have the authority to enter into agreements on behalf of your business to sign up for or purchase StribePOS software or hardware.
3. Account registration
If you create a StribePOS account, you agree to provide accurate business information and keep it up to date. You’re responsible for your login credentials and for all activity that happens under your account.
4. Privacy
We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Software subscriptions are billed according to the plan you select at sign-up. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees on a recurring basis until you cancel. We may refuse or suspend an order or account where there is a pricing error, a payment issue, or reason to suspect fraud or misuse.
6. Hardware orders and delivery
Hardware orders are fulfilled and delivered to the address you provide. Delivery times are estimates and may vary. Risk in the hardware passes to you once it has been delivered. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or events outside our control.
7. Refunds and returns
Refunds for software subscriptions and hardware are handled under our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use StribePOS for anything illegal or fraudulent, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform, or to use it in a way that could harm us, our other customers, or third parties.
9. Intellectual property
All software, documentation, branding, and other content we provide remain the property of StribePOS or our licensors. Your subscription gives you the right to use the software for your business; it doesn’t transfer ownership of it. Data you enter into the platform to run your own business (inventory, sales, customer records, etc.) remains yours.
10. Limitation of liability
We work to keep StribePOS software and hardware running reliably, but we are not liable for interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control, scheduled maintenance, or third-party services you connect (such as Shopify). To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll post the updated version on this website, and continued use of our services after an update means you accept the changes.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith between the parties; if it can’t be resolved that way, it will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
13. General
If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of the terms will remain in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and StribePOS regarding your use of our services.
